TAFSUT BAND
TAFSUT, is a band created in 2004 by some amazigh activists in Agadir (Morocco) since then TAFSUT participated in many festivals and concerts transmitting its noble messages of peace freedom, justice, human rights.. to a large public of Moroccans. On 2005 TAFSUT was invited to participate in a concert in Medeterranean Social Forum in Barcelona then Tafsut mermbers participated in "Festival de la Culture Amazigh" in Lille France. After this european tour Tafsut came back to Morocco and won the 1st price of a competetion in TIMITAR international festival in Agadir.The lyrics of Tafsut are written bye Abdellah BOUZANDAG, the singer of the band, and talk about amazigh people and its rights, Tafsut tries to attract an international audiance by creating new multilingual songs within which we can mention "TILELLI" which means freedom and it is a song in four languages: Tamazight, Spanish, French and English

This song is about the real heros of Moroccan history, marginalised just because they fought for freedom and dignity of Moroccan people. But their sacrifice is not recognised until now by the Moroccan institutions (mass-media, scholars, university programmes..), this song was born to greet these heros of "independance"..Abdelkrim Khattabi (Rif), Moha Ouhamou Azayi (Middle Atlas), Abdellah Azagour (Souss), Amghar Said (Ayt Baamrane).

Cette chanson parle des vrais héros de l'histoire du Maroc, qui sont marginalisés malgré leurs grands efforts pour l'émancipation du peuple marocain. Ce devouement n'a pas été reconnu par les institutions marocaines (les media, les programmes scolaires, universités..), cette chanson est née pour rendre hommage a ces héros de "l'indépendance",qui ont tant sacrifie.
